Lachie was one of our first cooking class chefs 20 years ago when he was at The Manse. Subsequently he moved on to Hentley Farm, where he joined forces with Sophie Pope.
After a stellar career they are now running the highly acclaimed Omotenashi restaurant in Hobart. Driven by a passion for precision & craft, and a deep love for Japanese cuisine, their work highlights seasonal ingredients within a Kaiseki framework.
