The kilim rug is woven in wool in black and off-white stripes and with one pink stripe and one orange stripe.
The weaving cooperative is situated in a remote area in the southern part of Morocco and consists of Berber women from small mountain villages. They are skilled weavers and they run the cooperative jointly and all income goes directly to them and their families.
